  1. Dissolve the turmeric in hot water. Whisk together the oil, sugar, warm water, beaten egg and vanilla.
  2. Sift the dry ingredient over the wet ingredients then mix until incorporated
  3. Fill the muffin cups with 1/4 cup batter and top with nuts, chocolate, and raisins of your choice.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 F (180C).
