A dish that originates from Palestine where it is known as “Snooniyeh” or “Aseeda”. This bowl is packed with nutrients, and is extremely filling due to the barley grains and nuts found in it! It is naturally sweetened with honey, and combines a ton of incredible textures!

Ingredients
- 1 cup grains of wheat or barley
- rose water
- honey
- Nuts (Pine nuts Slivered almonds, Pistachios, walnuts)
- raisins
- Pomegranate arils
- saffron optional

Instructions
- Soak Barley or wheat grains overnight in water
- The next day, cook grains by boiling them till tender
- Place desired serving of barley in a bowl
- Add ½ tsp of Rose water to the grains and mix in
- Sweeten the grains by drizzling a table spoon of honey
- Mix in nuts, raisins, and pomegranate arils
