Instructions
Dough
- Knead all dough ingredients with milk or luke warm water and set aside
Chicken Stuffing
- Heat the sunflower oil and cook the vegetables for 2 min, add the pulled chicken, salt and pepper, keep stirring for 5 min.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
Beef Stuffing
- In a pan over medium-high heat, saute the onions with the 2 tbsp sunflower oil until they are golden brown
- Add in pepper and salt. Then add the meat and continue to stir to avoid clumps and break up the meat. Cook the meat for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside
Sambusek Method
- Flour your work surface and roll out the dough into a 1/4” thick circle
- Using a cookie cutter or even a coffee glass, cut out circles from the dough.
- Fold circles in half to create half-moons (semi-circles). Pinch the edges together with a fork or fingers to tightly seal.
- Repeat same process with the remaining dough and filling.
- Heat oil over medium-high heat (fill oil no more than half-way)
- Fry the Sambusek until golden brown, approximately 4 minutes, turning once.
