Ingredients
- 4 cans fava beans
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried mint or 10 leaves of fresh mint, chopped

Instructions
- Empty all contents of four cans of fava beans into a pot and cook over medium heat, let it boil for five minutes over low heat
- Grind the garlic, salt, mint together with a mortar and pestle (md2a toum)
- Add the garlic mixture, 2 tablespoon oil and lemon juice to a bowl and mix together
- Add in the fava beans and mix with the dressing and remaining tablespoon of olive oil on top. Garnish with fresh mint
Recipe Notes
- If you have more time, this dish can alternatley be made with dry fava beans
- set them in pressure cooker for 20 minutes
