Hi my name is Rola, I’m 25 years old, I’m Lebanese with Lebanese parents but I was born on the island Curaçao. When I was 2 years old we moved to Lebanon and I was raised there until I turned 9, when we returned to Curaçao. I have a degree in Banking and Insurance. Currently I am a full time Mom with 3 beautiful children.

I’m Lebanese from the village Al-Qalamoun/Tripoli.

I currently live in the Netherlands.
What is your favorite Middle Eastern dish to make:
My favorite Middle Eastern dish to make is Sambusek.

I prefer the traditional Middle Eastern dishes.
What do you love most about cooking Middle Eastern cuisine:
Next to the fact that the Middle Eastern dishes are the most delicious out there, I love the feeling of keeping my heritage intact.

My trips to Lebanon I mostly ate at the restaurant Baytna in Tripoli.
