- 1 1/5 pound ground beef (500 gr)
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 red pepper chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/4 cup sunflower oil

Instructions
Dough
- Combine flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Add oil, milk and water.
- Use your hands to combine the dough and knead the mixture for five minutes
- When the dough has a soft shine, cover the bowl with a tea towel and place it in a warm spot. A good place is near a sunlit window.
- After an hour, the dough should be ready for use (it should rise until almost double in size) If not, place it in warmer environment and leave a little longer
Filling
- Place the ground meat in a bowl and combine the vegetables, salt and pepper, tomato paste and oil the ground meat, mix well. The topping is ready.
Sfiha
- Preheat oven to 430F (220C)
- Prepare two large baking sheets with baking paper. Dust the bench top with a little flour.
- Divide the dough into equal balls. Roll each of the balls out into a thin oval shape. Place each of the dough basis on the baking tray,
- Add the beef filling to the dough, leaving a 1 1/2 cm border around the outside
- Fold the border over the filling and pinch the top and bottom ends together. Repeat the same steps until all the dough has enclosed filling.
- Recommended: Beat an egg in a small bowl and mix it with 1 tbsp. olive oil. Brush the edges of dough with this mixture.
- Bake the Sfi7a until golden brown.
