Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp caraway powder
- 1 1/2 tsps cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp butter room temperature
- 1/2 cup white & brown sugar total
- 1 egg
- Garnish: Nuts soaked for 1 hour or more + coconut

Instructions
- Whisk flour, cinnamon, caraway, cocoa, salt and set aside
- Cream butter and the two types of sugar (white and brown) until creamy, add the egg & mix then add the flour mixture until a smooth dough is formed, cover with nylon cling; chill in fridge for half an hour.
- Roll dough between parchment paper and use any cookie cutter shape or simply roll as balls and flatten to have the shape of a disk. Garnish with coconut, pistachio, almonds, walnuts trying to press into the cookies (soak nuts for few hours prior to use)
- Preheat oven 10 minutes in advance at 175C; bake on the middle rack for 12 minutes
