Lebanese semolina cake, also known as basboussa or hareesa! Decadent, delicious sweet syrup soaked cake.

Ingredients
- 5 cups farina smeed abyad
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup raw almonds peeled, halved
Syrup
- 4 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon Orange Blossom water

Instructions
- Mix ingredients (except for almonds) in a bowl
- Butter a 15 by 10 1/2 " tray
- Add the mixture to the tray
- Add almonds on top in rows
- Set aside for five hours
- Set oven to 350F and bake for 45 minutes, until it is light golden
- Add the hot syrup right away when it is done baking
Syrup (make while nammoura baking)
- Boil water and sugar for 10 minutes
- Mix in 1/2 teaspoon blossom water
